NG83131 Japanese Kuruma-dansu, a wheeled storage chest traditionally kept in the Kura (storeroom) containing valuables, thus the wheels are for quick evacuation, this version constructed of Hinoki (Japanese Cypress) with a Kuri (Chestnut) carriage, slatted doors and sides concealing four interior drawers, all original construction and finish, signs of wear, excellent condition. Measuring: 34-1/2" High x 60-1/2" Wide x 27-1/4" Deep.
