UH70003 Chinese Blue & White Baluster Vase fitted as a Lamp. Ceramic vase with cobalt blue under-glaze design of convolvulus bindweed, a symbol of love and marriage, with four bold hei (double happiness) characters, with key-fret pattern at the mouth. Drilled for electrical wire and fitted with a wood base, wood lid, single bulb housing, harp and lapis lazuli finial. Circa 1850.
