UH80033 Burmese Bronze Buddha, Shan States, a seated image of Lord Buddha depicted in padmasana, (interlocking legs position) and the hand mudra in bhumisparsa (earth touching) wherein the right hand resting over the left foot fingers pointed towards the base and the left hand in the lap, palm up, accomplished incised detail depicting facial features, simple layered robe and decorative pattern on the edges of the raised triangular base with waist, multiple rows of hair curls above a forehead band and pronounced flame shaped usnisa finial, attenuated earlobes exaggerated, touching shoulders, dedicatory inscription on the flat backside of the base (not translated), consistent even casting with a lovely patina.
