UH80004 Burmese Silver Buddha, cast and hammered of silver and alloy, depicted in padmasana with his hands in the bhumisparsa mudra seated on a stout lotus base with edge incised decoration, the etched decoration on the image includes simple robes, brief facial features including high arching eyebrows, ears, and neck folds. The usnisa slightly curned and bent counter balancing the head tilt forming a charming rendition of this meditative pose. Fine condition. 19th Century. 3-1/2” High.
