UH20015 Burmese Nat-Pwe standing female image, carved of wood, possibly being Shingwa, “Lady Bandy-Legs” with her wide set feet peaking out beneath her lacquer patterned skirt, right hand extended forward with palm up and the other hand at her side, painted shell inset eyes, and long inset hair tied with a yellow fabric ribbon, all covered in red and black lacquer with the image gold leafed, also wearing a yellow lace fabric jacket. Minor signs of age, otherwise fine condition. 13” High. Early 20th Century.
